Made By Hand. By ME.

I have been sewing & creating since I was a child - I've always had the need to express myself creatively & get real joy out of making something new and finding inspiration in every day objects.  My earliest memory of my crafting days is from 4th grade when I started making & selling heart-shaped pillows for Valentine's Day.  This also happens to be my fondest memory of time spent with my mother, sitting on the floor of our den hand-stitching lace around the edges of the dozens of pillows I'd sold to classmates & family friends.

Over time, I branched into other areas, making evening gowns, crocheting, cross stitching, ceramics, and even a (very) brief time painting.  I had to stop crochet & cross stitch for a time because it aggravated a carpal tunnel condition, so I had to find a less repetitive craft to satisfy my creative urges.

My primary craft these days is quilting, although I find myself slowly branching out again into other areas such as handbags & wearables, as well as cards and jewelry.  Anything I can incorporate fabric into is fair game for my creative touch.
