Okay, I admit it. I am fascinated by cool hardware. To me, a boring cabinet knob is just a waste of space that could be better utilized to display a tiny work of art. So yes, I have a thing for functional art... cabinet knobs, robe hooks, switchplate covers and drawer pulls, because they all lend themselves to being transformed into fun, beautiful, or at the very least, more interesting home embellishments.
