That's what Melanie has to tell us about her shop: "Hi Friends~ I call you friends since you are like a neighbor coming onto my back porch for a cup of coffee. Stepping into my store is a lot like a friend stepping into my home. My store displays a lot of my favorite things--hydrangeas, angels, little monsters. You may say "little monsters?" Yes, I am a mom to 3 little munchkins and several of our pieces are inspired by them--monsters, aliens, rocket ships. I started this store out of love for them and a desire to help support our family since my husband lost his job. My items are inspired by the imaginations of my children and my faith...and each piece has a touch of whimsy. :) Whimsical Wares is a joint effort between me and my husband of 13 years. Our designs are inspired by our faith and living life with 3 small children and 1 dog. Our items are made by hand and have a whimsical flair."
