Hello, my name is Shannon Rea (RAY). I am a work at home mother of four, I am very happily married to a wonderful and supportive husband. My children range in age from 5 to 15! I have been a soap addict for as long as I can remember, but mostly for the wrong reasons! My skin has always been finicky and very sensitive. It does not find commercial beauty products desirable at all. I spent years searching for things I could use. While I loved the scents and colors of soaps and cleansers, I could never use them. For years I had to use boring unscented, dye free products on my skin and laundry. After a few years of studying herbs and essential oils as an Independent distributer for an herbal company, they sold out to a pharmaceutical company, and I left feeling like I was losing something that I loved so much! Really, I gained something when I walked away from that company, I gained alot of knowledge that I could incorporate into my daily life. I had just started dabbling into skin care and simple home remedies. All it took was one recipe in a craft magazine to make me get back up and try something new! Well, it took that and a bad reaction to my new shower gel.

All of the products that are made by me, are made from scratch.  I do not use melt and pour bases or any lotion bases to start my products with. I tried that in the beginning, but it was not good enough for my skin, there are still many drying chemicals used in some of them. All of the products that I make, I can use. Even though some soaps contain colorants (ultramarines and micas) I do not fully color the bar (unless I am using clays as the colorant). Even though some contain Fragrance oils, my skin has tolerated them or the soap is not sold as is. I am proud of my products, and I am proud to have converted many people into handmade soap users!
